Is it possible to control the equipment at remote sites? Galileosky gives an unequivocal answer - yes

Monitoring of objects outside the GSM network is one of the main requests of companies that operate far outside the cellular network, such as oil and gas, gold mining, timber, geological exploration and other industries.

Clients frequently have situations or tasks when it is not possible to work using the traditional communication channel. In this article we will discuss the technical solutions that allow to continue working in remote areas.

There are different ways to unload data from objects that are permanently out of GSM coverage. Galileosky equipment allows to collect data from such devices and upload them to the server using the Wi-Fi Client -> Wi-Fi Hub -> server. In some cases, it may be more reasonable to use the Iridium channel.

The Galileosky 7x Wi-Fi Hub tracking device allows to transmit data from remote locations completely secured and fully functional. The data is uploaded in the same way as it would be transmitted via GSM, but the advantage of the Wi-Fi solution compared to Iridium is that there is no traffic restrictions.

Everything works as if the data is received via GSM, so it is possible to guarantee the equipment operation safety, monitor fuel discharges, improper use of equipment. The tracking devices that support Wi-Fi have the Easy Logic technology, allowing to configure the most part of the automation for independent operation, the algorithm works inside the device, no matter whether there is a connection or not.

There are different patterns of Galileosky 7x Wi-Fi Hub operation - a very common situation is when we have a tracking device with Wi-Fi just working as a client. The device collects data, arrives at the place where there is an access point, connects and unloads the data.

The second option, and this is one of the main features, is that the tracking device works in the collector mode. In this case, the device can collect data from other objects that are constantly out of connection. That is, the equipment with the collector comes to the area without GSM, saves the client's archives on the memory card, and then in the area with network, whether it is GPS connection or Wi-Fi, unloads the data to the server. Service buses or fuel trucks usually act as such "courier".

No special or additional software is required in this case because the entire logic of loading, processing and unloading works autonomously within the family of Hub devices installed.
