Background
GeoTek was contacted by a foreign oil service company operating in Kazakhstan. The company was looking for a solution to control the safety of the entire transportation cycle of petroleum products.
The company often monitored the situation when drivers exceeded driving speed limits, unbuckled seat belts, changed driving routes and committed other violations after leaving the production sites of the company.
This style of equipment management has increased the company risks associated with the safety of employees and cargo during the movement. At the same time, the costs of the company have increased: fuel consumption has increased, the service life of machinery was shortened, and other direct and indirect costs were incurred.
According to the results of the equipment options review to implement a safe driving monitoring system, the system customer has decided to develop a system based on Galileosky tracking devices.

It considers the data on the driver's behavior while driving, monitors the compliance with the traffic rules and the other parameters. All the data is clearly visualized in reports. This information allows for explanatory conversations, bonuses, depressions, dismissals.
Result
The equipment had been installed on various vehicles: buses, light-duty trucks, and cars, as well as on KAMAZ trucks. More than 500 units of equipment had been fitted in total.
