Before the customer, who is involved in quarry development, approached "Aysiu," there were approximately 11,000 recorded speed limit violations on the site. Additionally, there was a high fuel consumption issue. The situation was complicated by weak cellular signal strength, making it difficult to contact drivers.
The goal was to minimize the number of violations by vehicles operating in the quarry.
The project started with simple vehicle monitoring. At one driver's request, they added joke playback functionality. Later, they configured voice commands for drivers through "Vialon" when violating vehicle operation rules. This project was implemented using Galileosky 7x trackers installed on vehicles.
The vehicle informer was set up using Easy Logic algorithms. For example, if an engine idles for more than 10 minutes or exceeds speed limits, the informer begins commenting on these actions to the driver.
By minimizing operational loads on equipment resources increased significantly.
During the project, 63 vehicles were equipped with Galileosky trackers.
The result of this project included minimizing idling and operational violations. This led to fuel savings and reduced engine wear-out as well as minimized maintenance needs since after every 300 engine hours vehicles need repair if idle times are lower then maintenance is less frequent too A significant outcome – productivity increased If talking about savings previously each idle hour cost at least around $8 which includes fuel and oil costs per idle hour.
