Background
Cash shortages are the biggest problem of the bus carrier in Quito. In Ecuador, payment in buses is usually made to the driver or to the check taker without using cash desks. Therefore, final income depends on the passengers and drivers honesty. Sometimes the monthly shortage reached 30-40% throughout the whole fleet.

Solution
Galileosky's partner in Ecuador, Mivilsoft S.A., offered a solution based on passenger counters and Galileosky Base Block Optimum GPS trackers. Additionally, Mivilsoft implemented its own monitoring platform SAE Mvsoft and its application for revenue control, which provides online visualization of payments in buses.
Moreover, the passenger carrier was able to obtain accurate data of the buses location.
