The customer required an additional solution to control the delivery of petroleum products, prevent fuel theft, and ensure the safety of transported cargo. The solution involved implementing a wide range of equipment for vehicle monitoring.
To deploy an extensive set of equipment for monitoring and controlling the fleet. The goal was to obtain comprehensive information about vehicle operation and the fuel tank system used for transportation.
The equipment makes it possible to:
Record fuel levels
Monitor the opening of tank hatches
Display fuel presence in drain pipelines
Show activation of the bottom valve
The project began with the supply and commissioning of the equipment. The main challenge was that the amount of hardware involved required significant memory from the monitoring terminal. This issue was resolved by switching to the Galileosky 10 terminal, which provides sufficient capacity to support the entire system.
As a result, using Galileosky equipment, the customer gained full control over their vehicles and access to a complete set of data on fuel consumption, location, and cargo safety—making the system truly unique.
The customer obtained the ability to monitor their vehicles directly onboard, ensured cargo safety, and gained control over compartment filling levels. The project also allowed the company to save up to 30% of annual fuel expenses.
