Professional transport monitoring is difficult to imagine without connecting additional devices to GPS trackers. With Galileosky hardware, you do not have to worry about the functionality of the solution. Due to the large number of inputs and outputs, support of various protocols and the flexibility to implement new integrations, the trackers are perfect for tasks in different areas: whether it is control of the driver's discipline, passenger counting or fuel transportation. The list of supported peripherals is regularly updated.
In this article, we have collected new items of integration of additional devices implemented by the Galileosky team in 2017.
Galileosky tracking devices support ADAS system, aimed at providing safe driving with the help of artificial vision technology. Integrated AIDriving C7 includes two smart cameras that monitor the situation ahead of the car, as well as control the driver's behavior. In case of getting too close to other road users ADAS issues an audio alert to avoid collisions. At the same time, when the driver facing infrared camera detects undesired behavior like yawning, smoking, speaking on the phone or closing eyes, the system also issues a warning to the driver.
Connecting ADAS to Galileosky GPS device allow transferring the data to the fleet dispatcher in order to take timely and effective measures to prevent accidents. Given the high statistics of accidents due to driver's inattention, such ADAS solutions will bring invaluable benefits in the field of transport monitoring, be it freight, passenger or commercial transport.
The most important parameter of control in passenger transport monitoring is the proper counting of passengers. We have integrated Galileosky tracking devices with such sensor as IRMA MATRIX, which allows you to capture and send to the monitoring server the number of entering and exiting people.
IRMA MATRIX is highly accurate due to the 3D sensor. It is connected to Galileosky via CAN-interface. The sensor can count not only the passenger flow, but also entering/exiting visitors of stores, employees of the enterprise or office, etc. Simultaneously, up to 8 sensors can operate with one tracking device.
Connecting camera to a tracker one can control public transport interior, accomplish driver’s identification and set photo shooting by a certain event, like opening the doors, hard braking and so on. Moreover, solution can be applied for stationary objects security: making photos when a gate opens etc.
Galileosky tracking devices are compatible with new cameras, produced by QQZM. To transfer images from monitoring objects to the server, one can choose from a list of more than 10 different camera models. The connection of cameras is possible, both via the RS232 and RS485 interfaces. At the same time, up to three cameras can be connected to one Galileosky GPS device. Pictures are transmitted in JPEG format with a resolution of 640 x 480.
Furthermore, the camera with infrared illumination JC029F-Y01 is now compatible by Galileosky, which has common characteristics in general, but require additional voltage supply of 5 V and can be connected only via RS232 interface.
The list of solution for refrigerator control, supported by Galileosky tracking devices, has been also extended. Now the devices will be able to capture and transmit to the monitoring server data from not only i-Box, DataCold, Euroscan, but also iQFreeze. The logger can receive data from such refrigerator types as: ThermoKing, Carrier Supra/ Maxima, Zanotti UNO, Thermal Master, Carrier Vector. Depending on the type of refrigerator unit, the tracker can transmit various parameters to the server, for example, the set temperature and ambient temperature, the state of the door and the system, engine hours, engine speed and much more.
The contactless radar level sensor ULM-31A, integrated with Galileosky vehicle tracking equipment, allow to solve tasks of monitoring the level of bulk or liquid products in tanks: acids, alkalis, aqueous solutions, cement, coal, petrol products and even food, for instance, corn, syrop, etc. The sensor is mounted on the roof of the tank and measures the distance to the surface of the product, calculating the level by the formula. Galileosky tracking device reads the sensor data every 10 seconds and transmits them to the monitoring server. Requirements for connection: RS-485 port and support of the Easy Logic function.
With the magnetic sensor DZ300, it is possible to control the direction and frequency of the drum rotation of a concrete mixer or other special vehicles of similar functionality. By connecting the sensor to the GPS tracker, you will be able to get information about the speed of rotation – from 0 to 120 rotations per minute, the direction of rotation, as well as information about errors. As a result, the solution will help not only to monitor the state of vehicle, but also prevent its damage, fix unauthorized draining and increase staff responsibility.
We always strive to expand the list of solutions for GPS monitoring by integrating new devices. Most often, the support of the new periphery is realized thanks to partners’ request. If you or your customer need to work with other additional equipment, that is not yet supported by Galileosky, send request to the sales department.
