For the construction of the largest gas transmission system Power of Siberia in Russia uses Galileosky devices to monitor fleet positioning, equipment performance, and fuel consumption.
Galileosky tracking devices were installed on the all fleet, which is used for the construction process. There are pipe-laying equipment, bulldozers, dump trucks, welding machines and other 125 special types of machinery. Galileosky Base Block Lite devices are used in this case. This solution helps to reduce fuel loss, downtime and optimize the fleet operation on all construction areas.
The Power of Siberia gas trunkline (eastern route) supplies gas from the Yakutia gas production center to domestic consumers in Russia’s Far East and to China. The construction facility was opened in December 2019.
Maksim Revyakin, Head of Regional Development Department Galileosky:
— The use of our tracking devices in the construction of such an important infrastructure facility as the Power of Siberia in Russia is proof of the reliability and quality of our devices. We help to provide vehicle monitoring in the case of poor GSM coverage and remote equipment operation more than 100 kilometers from the base.
